In 2010 we launched our Fan Moderation Console (FMC), this was in direct response to the sheer volume of posts that were being generated on a daily basis. It works simply, taking the wall stream and photo comments and importing the data every few minutes into PowerText. The FMC scans the content and looks-up against a word list that is created by us in conjunction with our clients; if a word matches then an automated email alert is sent to administrators of the 'page' so content can be acted on.
